Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mangaluru for the position of Duty Doctor. The Duty Doctor will be responsible for assessing and treating patients, documenting medical histories, prescribing medications, and performing minor procedures as required. This role involves responding to medical emergencies, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring seamless patient care across shifts. The Duty Doctor will also communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding treatment plans and follow-up care.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of patient assessment, diagnosis, and medical treatment plans
- Proficiency in handling minor procedures and managing medical emergencies
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and team interaction
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and adapt to fast-paced environments
- MBBS degree from a recognized institution; medical registration with a relevant medical council is mandatory
- Prior experience as a Duty Doctor or in a hospital setting is advantageous
